Eastern’s Jazz Combo (a small jazz ensemble, typically 3-7 players) playing their own interpretations of Jazz standards, is a student led ensemble that is led by two student Directors, Student Director Evan Wood (junior) and Assistant Student Director Evan Gianfriddo (junior). Eastern’s Jazz Ensemble is typically a Jazz Big Band (a large Jazz ensemble of 12-18 players) directed by faculty Professor Dr. Anthony Cornicello.
