I'm Pam and I have been working in the field of senior care services for 30 years. I am passionate about supporting people living with neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's and other kinds of dementia, as well as families coping with the anxiety and frustrations of helping older adults make challenging transitions in their lives. I founded Atwood Dementia Group to help cut the learning curve, to support families and individuals living with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Vascular Dementia, FTD and Lewy Body Dementia. My husband Tom (a fabulous physical therapist) and I are the co-authors of "Total Engagement," a book of activities to support successful aging. I volunteer for and support the Alzheimer's Association and the American Parkinson's Disease Association, as well as local non profits AHM Youth & Family Services, Hebrew Senior Care and the Chamber of Commerce, Windham Region.
